Far Breton - Prune cake


Ingredients

  • 120 g flour

  • 100 g of caster sugar

  • 4 eggs

  • 50 cl of whole milk

  • 1 tbsp dark rum

  • 60 g of soft salted butter

  • 200 g of pitted prunes

  • 1 oval dish

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 210 ° C.

Pour the flour and caster sugar in a bowl then add the eggs. Whisk vigorously to obtain a very smooth mass.

Gradually add the milk, while continuing to whisk, then add the dark rum.

Butter the dish abundantly and pour the dough into it.

Place the prunes on the dough, pressing them lightly and cook for about 25 to 30 minutes or till golden brown.
