Fresh fig cake

Ingredients • 300 g fresh figs • 110 g self-rising flour • 110 g butter • 75 g powdered sugar • 2 eggs • 1 pinch of salt

Preparation Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Rinse the figs and cut them into pieces. Melt the butter in a small saucepan. Put the flour and salt in a large bowl. Mix the eggs with the powdered sugar until the mixture turns white. Add the butter and mix well. Pour into the bowl with the flour and mix gently until you get a smooth paste. Incorporate the pieces of figs into the dough. Pour into a buttered mold and bake for about 30 minutes. The cake should be golden brown.
