• 1 shortbread
• 7 to 8 ripe figs depending on size
• 1 egg
• 60 g almond powder
• 50 g of butter
• 50 g sugar
• 2 tbsp of brown sugar
Preheat the oven to 210 °.
Prepare the almond cream: melt the butter and let it cool down. In a bowl, whisk the egg and sugar until the mixture turns white. Add the melted butter then the almond powder and mix gently.
Wash the figs and cut them in half.
Roll out the dough and garnish with the almond cream. Add the figs by pushing them lightly into the cream. Add some small pieces of butter.
Place in the oven for 30 minutes until the tarte is golden brown.
Remove from the oven, sprinkle with brown sugar and let cool for a few moments before serving.
